I've been going here since they first opened way back when, food has always been very good, BUT I've always taken one of my very well behaved dogs when visiting with no response or prejudice, but last night was told after spending 15+ pounds that dog's aren't welcome, so in my mind neither am I, my money isn't good enough anymore. I won't be returning any time soon. If kids scratching their arse, picking thier noses and crawling on the floor is ok but WELL BEHAVED DOGS AREN'T then I'll find somewhere else in future!!!@

Excellent chippy, reasonably priced, great food. Get the house special kebab, more food than you could ever hope to eat, £10. There's a girl who works there i fancy too which helps.

It’s the first time we’ve ordered from here and it most definitely won’t be our last.. we live in Ilkeston and our food was absolutely delicious… the chips were fresh. Hot and not soggy.. the kebabs well they were delicious the portion size was massive. Thank you for great food

House Special Kebab, staff nice, place has plenty of parking, clean inside. Easy to follow menus. Chicken nice and kebab meat ok. Chips have a fresh cooked taste. Would recommend.

Ordered regularly from here and the Gate Fryer which i believe is owned by the same people for over 3 years and both have always been very lovely people to talk to and the food has always been amazing. My go to has always been battered sausage chips and curry and mayo or a mixed kebab and chips but I have ordered fish on occasion which was very yummy too. Very reasonably priced as well! Exceptionally tasty and amazing portion sizes!
